In 2006, events - Das Management-Magazin für die MICE-Industrie has celebrated its 20th anniversary. Today, the medium is one of the leading publications for the MICE-Industry, classified and listed with a circulation of 24,000 copies for the second quarter of 2008 by the IVW (an independent audit bureau of circulation). events is distributed in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg.
The professional reporting in events is based upon the expertise and careful, extensive research of the editors team. The regular reporting focuses on the most important trends and information around the worldwide topics of the trade fair, convention and congress industry. events therefore passes on valuable know-how and background information that makes it an essential media work-tool for decision makers in the M.I.C.E. industries.
In time for the anniversary, events has relaunched its logo and appearance after ten years.
With its relaunch, events expresses that they highlight the trends of the industry - close to the market and with critical topics.
The new logo is less fancy, instead it is more conservative and stands for Corporate events .
The well-known photographer Norbert Guthier (www.fotodesign-guthier.com) photographs a balloon with events Logo while telling a story. In Moscow, he found children, policemen, street cleaners, bridal pairs, a Mickey Mouse, horses, Russian Mamoutschkas, a Sonius rocket and many more. In Frankfurt, it was the skyliners and bridges and further stories are yet to come.
The photos can be seen as exhibition at IMEX and EIBTM and in Moscow and Frankfurt. The series merges into an advertising campaign on trade show displays.
